Eurocopa 2025 50+ & 60+ Report

Odiaxere 50+ squad started Day One with a comfortable 3-1 win over Clacton Knights, followed by three draws and two defeats before finishing the day with another 3-1 win this time against Silver Coast Strollers, to sneak into 4th spot in Group 'C' and a place in the Cup Group on Day Two.

The 60+ squad recorded opening day wins against WF Langedijk and Scarborough Barons to finish in 6th and a spot in the 60+ Trophy section.

The Cup section prove exceeding tough for the 50+ players and the group games on Tuesday were as far as the team were able to progress, with 4 defeats sandwiching a single 1-1 draw against local rivals Quarteirense.

East Algarve won the 50+ Cup Final, beating West Hartlepool Strollers 1-0 and Watford won the 50+ Trophy beating Santos WF Nottingham 2-0.

The 60+ team managed to go one step further, with 4 wins in Tuesday's Group stage, including a 2-0 against Cardiff City to seal a quarter-final spot against Watford. Unfortunately, the Hornets came out 4-1 winners.

East Riding Rangers won the 60+ Cup with Leisure United lifting the Trophy.
