FAVOURITE PROFESSIONAL PLAYER OF ALL TIME:

George Best.

I would watch him at Old Trafford and every time he received the ball, you could feel throughout the crowd the uplift of anticipation. He was a fabulous player.

FAVOURITE ODIAXERE CLUB PLAYER:

I gave this a lot of thought. I enjoy playing with them all.

MOST DIFFICULT ODIAXERE CLUB OPPONENT:

John Swires, however the duel is fun.

MOST MEMORABLE MATCH:

1968 Intercontinental Cup second leg match

Man Utd v Estudiantes. The atmosphere and noise in the ground was electric.

BIGGEST THRILL:

The birth of my children Richard & Rochelle. Then continued by the arrival of my four grandkids.

JOHN LENNON OR PAUL McCARTNEY:

At the beginning it was Paul McCartney but ultimately John Lennon became my favourite.

OASIS OR BLUR:

I’m a Manc, Oasis all day long.

BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT:

I loved my Dad. I was 19yrs old when he died and I missed out on discovering more about the man I truly admired.

BEST COUNTRY VISITED:

We have travelled and visited so many beautiful places.

The reason we decided to move to Portugal, was because it was the best country.

FAVOURITE FOOD:

I love Indian food.

A close second is a full Irish breakfast, with both white and black pudding

FAVOURITE PORTUGUESE FOOD:

Black pork cheeks - Yummy!

FAVOURITE DRINK:

I lived and worked in Belgium for four years, where they have more Trappist breweries than any other country. I love beer.

My favourite is “Westmalle”

MISCELLANEOUS LIKES:

Kindness, having fun with mates and people who go the extra mile.

MISCELLANEOUS DISLIKES:

Politicians, electric scooters, insincerity and Portuguese driving.

FAVOURITE TV SHOW:

“The Sopranos” closely followed by “Games of Thrones”

FAVOURITE FILM:

“Field of Dreams”, starring Kevin Costner.

I always believe in having a positive mental attitude (PMA). This film is all about that and more.

FAVOURITE SINGER:

David Bowie.

I’ve seen him live many times. However I will never forget the first time in 1972 at the Ziggy Stardust Tour. He was for me, both unique and musically inspirational.

WHAT ONE ITEM WOULD YOU TAKE WITH YOU TO A DESERT ISLAND:

My watercolour paints, brushes and paper. Happy days!

WHICH ONE PERSON IN THE WORLD WOULD YOU MOST LIKE TO MEET:

Father Christmas, so that I could dispel the rumours.
