Mission Completed!

Bryn Williams, the son of Odiaxere Walking Footballer Haydn, and his partner Mike have successfully completed their 'virtual' run from Chester to Burgau.

During 2023, the pair took on a 1447 mile challenge and over the course of the year covered the distance on foot (mostly running, but with a few hikes included). This was equivalent to the distance from their house in Chester to Haydn and Jayne's home in Burgau. As an extra twist, they included a half marathon race each month. This started in January with the Helsby Half Marathon, followed by Rhyl (Feb), Liverpool (Mar), Blackpool (Apr), Birmingham (May), Stoke (Jun), Abersoch (Jul), Lancaster (Aug), Caernarfon (Sep), Bangor (Oct), Conwy (Nov) and Manchester Heaton Park (Dec).

Bryn and Mike raised over £2,500 for MacMillan Cancer Support.
