Olhao v Odiaxere Friendly

The match consisted of two squads of ten, played over three 20 minute games. Olhao were the clear victors with some impressive play. Odiaxere showed signs of some penetrative play in spells and all players contributed. Olhao are an 11 year old club whilst Odiaxere are only 4 years established so some improvements to be enjoyed in the future.

Tony Burke, commented “We appreciate the hospitality shown by Stephen Ashcroft and his squad, the atmosphere was very friendly and the facilities were excellent”. A meal was hosted afterwards where both sets of players spent time chatting and sharing stories of past and future competitions, notably the 8th Algarve Cup at Browns which was won by Odiaxere 60+.
